NJC Wins Fast Lane Biker Magazines “Biker Build Off”

 NJC’s very own Scott Avery Won. Scott, who represented New Jersey in the first ever Showdown at the Rock Tri-State Biker Build-Off beat off some stiff competition at  Fast Lane Promotions 2nd Annual Rally at the Rock at Split Rock Resort in the Poconos.

One builder from each state was selected by Fast Lane Biker Magazine to represent either NJ, NY or PA. The event was judged by Russell Mitchell of Exile Cycles, Vince Doll of Redneck Engineering, Doug Keim of Creative Cycles and a few local builders as well as the people’s choice.

This was  a great opportunity for each builder to showcase their amazing talent and passion. Scott was very proud to have been chosen to take part in the build-off  to represent New Jersey and North Jersey Customs. Scott’s winning bike, “Defiant”, is a Bad Ass, full blown custom, 330 tire, ground pounding chopper, that gave the competition a run for their money.

Scott chose his favorite painters, Bob Folz of Toontown Paint and Jonathan Pantaleon both of Orange, NJ, to work on this project with him. They pulled off an outstanding “Foo Dog” themed paint scheme that had everyone looking twice. Thanks Bob and Jonathan for your great work!

Rally at the Rock II is was held May 29, 30, 31st at Split Rock Resort in the Poconos, Lake Harmony, PA. We’re hoping that next years “Rally at the Rock” will be as good or better than this year’s.
